Our mission is to create a warm and welcoming community where families feel at home, no matter how far they are from their roots. With over 300 families now part of En Castellano, we’ve built a supportive network that’s always there for one another. In our community, nobody feels alone. We’re here to lend a hand, share a laugh, or offer a listening ear, whether it’s navigating everyday life or adjusting to new challenges.
Keeping tradition and language alive
En Castellano started as a small gathering of local moms who felt the need to connect with other Spanish-speaking families. They wanted a place where their kids could grow up with a sense of cultural pride and familiarity, keeping traditions and language alive. Since then, our community has grown into something truly special—a warm, supportive network of families who understand each other’s challenges and joys.
We’re passionate about organizing events and programs that bring people together to share experiences, celebrate culture, and build friendships that last. From casual meetups to cultural celebrations, our gatherings create a space where everyone feels at home.

To stay connected, we use Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram to keep everyone updated on events, workshops, and other activities. In the future, we dream of having a dedicated website where all our resources and updates can be easily accessed by everyone in our community.
Through these years, we’ve learned that building a home away from home is about more than just events—it’s about providing real support.
Each family may need something a little different, but we work hard to make sure everyone feels comfortable and included.
